Usually, a wave of mass self-confidence indicates that the best times are already behind. However, Everton did indeed overcome this perspective - contrary to the views of many experts, the team was able to rise from sixth place to the top and show a defining game in the Premier League. Seven out of nine possible game actions ended in success for Everton, but the turning point came on September 20th - on the occasion of the Merseyside derby, they defeated the powerful Liverpool "Reds" and ended their perfect start to the season. The team's manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has maintained a super team status, and many believe it is this factor that allows Everton to be strong contenders for a top position for the Toffees at the end of the season.
